Our Story
Oh My Cake! was founded in 2014 by Naseeha, whose love for sugar paste art turned into a full-time passion while completing her Master’s in medical science. A short cake decorating class sparked an obsession, leading her to perfect the craft through self-teaching and YouTube tutorials. Winning an entrepreneurship competition that same year gave her the confidence to trade her lab coat for an apron and officially launch OMC.
What started as a small home business has now grown into a thriving team of 25 bakers, decorators, and visionaries in Gauteng. OMC produces hundreds of cakes, cupcakes, and macarons daily, combining artistry, quality, and speed. Beyond baking, the company is deeply rooted in empowerment, uplifting women from the community through skills development. Naseeha’s domestic helper became OMC’s first employee, and today, over half the baking team has followed a similar journey, transforming into skilled artisans.
