All orders require a 48 hour lead time, unless you are ordering using our express next-day or same-day service.
Please expect your delivery order any time between 8am & 5pm on the delivery date. If you are not home, our driver will attempt to contact you & will wait for 10 minutes before leaving. Thereafter, your cake will be returned to our store in Fourways, & you will need to make your own arrangements to collect the order. Please note, your delivery fee is non-refundable & unfortunately, we cannot accommodate redeliveries.
Delivery is charged at a tiered rate and is calculated based on the distance from our Cedar Square premises. We will deliver up to 200km from our store. The delivery date is guaranteed but the delivery time is not! Delivery charges are subject to change at any time.
Same Day Express Fee: R200.
Next Day Express Fee: R90.
If you opted for a same-day order, delivery or collection times are not guaranteed. If you are placing an order for the same day between Monday and Saturday, your order must be placed & paid for before 1 pm. No same-day orders are available on Sundays.
If you are placing a next-day order between Monday & Friday, your order must be placed & paid for before 4pm the day before. If you are placing an order for the next day on a Saturday or Sunday, your order must be placed & paid for before 2pm.
If you order for collection, your order will be ready by 9am on the day. Please note that if your order is due for collection, it needs to be collected within 72hrs from the collection date. Failure to do so will result in the loss of your order without a refund.
Our cancellation policy is as follows: if you cancel your order more than two days before your delivery/collection day, you will receive a full refund minus a 2% admin fee. If you cancel less than two days before your delivery/collection day, you will receive online store credit instead of a refund. Please note that all refunds can take up to 2 weeks to reflect into your account. The sticker information under the cake board is crucial. A refund will not be processed unless this information is shared with us.
Once your cake has been collected/delivered, we are not responsible for any damage incurred during transportation/setup/etc. Cakes are heat-sensitive! If you are collecting, please have adequate space on a level surface such as your front passenger seat footwell, or in the car boot. We recommend you drive straight home/to the event venue, with the air-conditioning on, & avoid stopping along the way. Please drive carefully.
If we agree to fix any damage that occurred after an order left our store, labor & ingredients will be charged, which will be payable upon collection of the order. For your peace of mind, we recommend budgeting for delivery by our team.
If you are collecting, we reserve the right to withhold collection of an order, should we feel that the means of transportation are inadequate until an appropriate alternative arrangement can be made by the customer.
All products may contain allergens (e.g. milk, wheat, nuts, edible flowers, etc.) & we will not be held responsible for any adverse reactions to ingredients.
To ensure freshness, please ensure that our products are stored appropriately. Our cakes should be kept in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight, & enjoyed within 3 days. Leftovers should be stored in a sealed container at room temperature. Macarons & cupcakes should be kept in an airtight container for up to 3 days. All our products are freezer-friendly, & can be frozen for up to 2 weeks. We do not recommend storing any of our products in the fridge.

Any complaints must be reported within 48 hours of your receiving your order. Complaints will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, & we cannot guarantee a full refund unless the product is returned to us in it's original condition. So if you're not satisfied with your order, please bring it back to our store within 48 hours for a full refund. Please note that we won't be able to collect the order from you.
