Terms & Conditions

  1. All orders require a 48 hour lead time.
  2. Delivery is charged at a flate rate of R100, for addresses within 50km of our Cedar Square premises. Delivery date is guaranteed but delivery time is not! Delivery charges are subject to change at any time. 
  3. If you order for collection, your order will be ready by 9am on the day.
  4. Orders are not refundable. Please contact us should you need to cancel, & we will issue a credit note.
  5. Once your cake has been collected/delivered, we are not responsible for any damage incurred during transportation/setup/etc. Cakes are heat-sensitive! If you are collecting, please have adequate space on a level surface such as your front passenger seat footwell, or in the car boot. We recommend you drive straight home/to the event venue, with the air-conditioning on, & avoid stopping along the way. Please drive carefully.
  6. If we agree to fix any damage that occurred after an order left our store, labour & ingredients will be charged for, which will be payable upon collection of the order. For your peace of mind, we recommend budgeting for delivery by our team.
  7. If you are collecting, we reserve the right to withhold collection of an order, should we feel that the means of transportation are inadequate, until an appropriate alternative arrangement can be made by the customer.
  8. All products may contain allergens (e.g. milk, wheat, nuts, edible flowers, etc.) & we will not be held responsible for any adverse reactions to ingredients.
  9. To ensure freshness, please ensure that our products are stored appropriately. Our cakes should be kept in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight, & enjoyed within 3 days. Leftovers should be stored in a sealed container at room temperature. Macarons & cupcakes should be kept in an airtight container for up to 3 days. All our products are freezer-friendly, & can be frozen for up to 2 weeks. We do not recommend storing any of our products in the fridge.
  10. Products may differ slightly from the photos.
  11. Any complaints must be reported within 48 hours of your receiving it. Complaints will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, & we cannot guarantee a full refund unless the product is returned to us in its original condition. So when you receive your order, if you're not happy, do send it right back with our driver if you'd like a full refund 🙂
